Singing Mamas

Pause, connect and recharge with simple songs and harmonies learnt by ear.

Singing Mamas is a national not-for-profit organisation set up by nurse Kate Valentine in 2010 to improve women's wellbeing.

These groups are all about making YOU feel good. There are no auditions, no solos, no reading music. Just simple songs taught by ear. Your leader (that's me!) will sing the songs line by line and the group will echo it back, until everyone knows it off by heart. (Then we might add a harmony or two!). Children are welcome and we always make time for a cuppa and some cake.

No singing experience is needed to attend and all 'I can't sing!' singers are especially welcome.

Singing Mamas at The Ropetackle in Shoreham-by-Sea!

Come along to my Singing Mamas group at The Ropetackle Arts Centre and try it for FREE. We meet on Mondays 9.30-10.30am (term-time). Email me to find out more and book your free taster.

Singing Mamas has given me the confidence to sing again, motivated me to get out of the house and given me a support network.
